Not what I had in mind for spending so so much money.Īll in all the services and staff were awesome. I was trying to give them an afternoon of relaxation and instead they left feeling defeated and sad because they fell prey to sales tactics (their words). But we get in the car and my family members are filled with buyers' remorse because they "gave in" to the sales pitch even when at first they said they wouldn't use the product. My family members bought product, and spent a lot on it, and I'm sure it's great. They may be right but it's not the atmosphere I'm going for. I'm relaxing and then bombarded with this pitch even after declining a few times. Here's what your skin needs, oh I can't just sell you this product you HAVE to buy at least these three, you are beautiful but if you don't start using these products your skin won't hold up at age 50, etc. Emotionally, we were relaxed and having a blast and then the sales pitch would start for each person after their facial. Here's why this place gets four stars instead of 5 (I'd say more like 3.5). Hard to explain other than the water container isn't connected to the chair, and the chair isn't a massage chair. My entire family did agree that it was straining however, because the chair wasn't what we are used to and it felt like you had to hold your weight up or the container with water would spill. Next I had a pedicure which was really nice, although not the best I've had. I've had multiple hot stone massages and this one was top notch. None of us had had facials before so we didn't know what to expect. Be careful of add on costs during this service, one of my family members racked up a $59 charge without being told the waxing would cost extra and wasn't asked if this was a service she wanted. My personal facial was done by Daniella and it was relaxing and beneficial. When we arrived Norma had some sandwiches and fruit for us and was very hospitable. We all did facials, massages (most hot stone) and pedicures. I was trying to plan an afternoon they would remember. At the end they did comp the massage, but I still spent $200 on a mani pedi that I could have done myself with gel paint from dollar general.Norma helped me plan a half day of services for my family while we were in town. my massage lasted 20-25min at the most and was super stressful since she was upset with me. I know she was upset so I basically got a bunch of oil robbed in my hair, she wasn’t even going to do my whole back I had to ask. I know she wanted me to just cancel but that’s what I needed the most and wanted the most. Well….about that…the therapist told me she had to leave within the next 30min. Then I had picked out fun mani designs and colors, there were very few color options and I was told they had no tolls to do French manicure or any fun designs, etc. The girl was so sweet however hardly any foot and leg rub so that was disappointing. I had mani and pedi first while my BFF had her 50min massage. Came time for our spa day and it was a complete disappointment to say the least. I had so much going on prior to the trip and spa day was what we looked forward to the entire trip. The plan was fun week and on last day do a great spa day.
